Customer Reviews
4 out of 5 stars from 1 reviews
It was hard finding a machine that uses a standard outlet and is light enough to move by myself if I have to (barely). This one fits the bill. The good: Not too heavy, 115 volt (plug in anywhere), very easy to assemble and maintain, fits in the back of my hatchback (be very careful not to let it tip!). The bad: It's only powerful enough to dispense a 6oz serving (that's a "small") every 4-5 minutes. If you've got two customers in line and they want a medium cone, they're going to be waiting a while. This machine is designed for very low-volume situations. I've also been having trouble with the product freezing up in the cylinder if it's been sitting for 20 minutes between customers. Seems another user had this problem with a Donper as well. Some mixes work better than others. I'm using my own recipes so I've had to taylor it to this machine. Buying from GoFoodService was excellent. Great price, customer service, and shipping logistics. Left off one star for the issue of the product freezing up. This shouldn't happen, can destroy the machine, and causes quite a headache. Lower-sugar mixes would be a problem here.
