How much ice do you need? The Hoshizaki F-500BAJ flaker ice machine produces up to 536 lbs of their pure, fresh flaked ice. This ice is perfect for any seafood or produce display as it is completely mold-able to your liking. This fresh ice is created using Hoshizaki's unique stainless steel evaporator screw auger design. This screw type auger pushes water upwards through the stainless steel evaporator walls to an extruding head which dispenses the ice in the built in storage bin. The storage bin holds up to 170 lbs of ice at one time so that you may keep all of your display cases fully stocked with flaked ice throughout the whole day.
